On a recent road trip out west, my family spent countless hours trying to plan an itinerary for our trip based on the amount of time we had, various interests, and places to camp. It would have been extremely helpful to have all this information in one place. I designed this app concept as a solution to that problem. Car·tograph helps the user plan their ideal road trip to National Parks. It asks questions such as the length of the trip, key points, interests, and skill level in order to give the user a personalized itinerary. If the user only has a few hours to enjoy a park, the app will give suggestions for how to get the most out of each trip. It also provides information on specific parks, hikes, and campsites. I designed screens for the app as well as animations detailed how the app would function.
