I wanted the logo to feel modern and clean.  I opted for a slab style font to suggest a typewriter, complimenting the cozy feel of this bookstore

In a web design course, we were given the assignment of creating an ecommerce website.  I chose to redesign a website for an existing company, Quarter Moon Books and Gifts in Topsail Island, North Carolina.  The original website is very cluttered and difficult to navigate.  Therefore, my goal for this design was to simplify the website, including only necessary items on the home page.  Despite designing a very simple and clean website, I also wanted the design to do justice to the small-town bookstore / bakery feel that Quarter Moon has.  The resulting website is much more structured and easier to navigate than the original site.
